Datacamp Track in R [Update 06-22]

Today I decided to finally keep on progressing on my Datacamp track. It is Data Scientist with R. For those interested, my progress can be checked here.

If some interesting topics appear there, I might create a blogpost about it.

For all reader from Germany, I wish happy summer holidays.

Update 2019-06-20 So far nothing really new. But I discovered a great new course in the career track. Communicating with data in the tidyverse is made by a data journalist and focuses on customizing your own ggplot theme and introducing the Dot-Plot. Now I really want to create my own Theme and jump into the next TidyTuesday task.

Update 2019-06-21 I just completed the course Introduction to relational databases in sql, which I found really interesting. It goes away from simply getting data out of a data base, but focuses more on how a database should be structured. I learned some things about constraints and keys, I haven’t had the chance to practically apply, yet. I think, it is a small step towards Data Engineering, what I am missing in most Data Science classes I saw online.

BTW: I saw a nice github repo of Data Engineering Resources in my Twitter time line, I also want to share here.

Update 2019-06-22

I passed the 50% threshold of the career track. Time for a little break.
